BD&P's Employment and Labour Group is seeking an Associate with 1-3 years of experience providing strategic advice to both private and public sector employers on employment and labour issues to join our forward-thinking team.

To continue providing first-rate service, we are looking for an Associate to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years of related experience from a reputable national, regional or boutique firm;
  • Experience in advising and representing employers in all areas of employment law including implications of corporate transactions and reorganizations;
  • Experience with employment contracts and executive compensation;
  • Experience in human rights, employment standards, privacy, terminations, layoffs and workplace investigations;
  • Exceptional client service, interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and confidence to take initiative; and
  • A demonstrated ability to be responsive, eager to learn, adaptable, and will enjoy working with our collaborative and collegial firm.
