The Benchmark Litigation Awards recognize BD&P with the National Impact Case Award

The Benchmark Litigation Awards commend exceptional accomplishments in the legal field, recognizing both individuals and firms.
We're honoured to receive the National Impact Case Award for our role in the precedent-setting case 'Steele and Smith v. The City of Leduc.' This class action lawsuit was brought by female firefighters who faced sexual harassment and assault in the workplace. The BD&P team, including Rich Steele, Rob Martz, Sydney Black and Alanna Wiercinski, represented the plaintiffs in this case.
