Experience
After summering with the firm in 2023, Christopher is returning to BD&P as an articling student.
Christopher completed his legal studies at the University of Victoria. Christopher participated in the University of Victoria’s Environmental Law Clinic, where he focused on mining law. Christopher also completed a term at the University of Victoria’s Law Centre, a poverty law clinic. While at the Law Centre, Christopher assisted clients in both English and Spanish, and he made multiple appearances in the Provincial Court of British Columbia. Following his first year of law school, Christopher worked in Yellowknife with the Government of the Northwest Territories’ Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment.
During law school, Christopher also spent time volunteering. He completed a project regarding wills and estates with Pro Bono Students Canada. He also volunteered with the University of Victoria’s Best Buddies program. When he is not working, Christopher enjoys reading, hiking, and playing sports.
