Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP's response to the COVID-19 pandemic
Published March 16, 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented challenges and uncertainty for people around the world. In meeting these challenges our first priority is the wellbeing of our people, our clients and our community. We have implemented proactive measures focused on the safety of our people and our clients which have been guided by the recommendations of the Canadian and Alberta health authorities, including stringent travel restrictions and "social distancing" steps, including "work from home" protocols. These measures will continue to evolve in this rapidly changing environment.
We are committed to continue to provide uninterrupted service to our clients through these difficult times. We have a business continuity plan which allows us to operate with as little disruption as possible if we are unable to work in our offices. This business continuity plan has been well tested and is highly flexible.
We understand that our clients face many challenges not only from the COVID-19 pandemic but also from the massive volatility in the financial and commodity markets.
